When it comes to my summer makeup routine, I like to keep it lightweight and glowy! There’s nothing worse than sweating in heavy foundation and caked on makeup. As it starts to heat up I definitely like to switch things up and add in a little more bronze and shimmer to my normal routine. I don’t like to go overboard with my makeup during the summer so I’ll be opting for a more “no-makeup-makeup” look. I as I’m transitioning and trying new products I figured I would share my favorites with you girls!
Here are my must-have makeup products to help you achieve the perfect sun-kissed glow this summer.
Glow Recipe Dew Drops: Holy grail product for keeping your skin plump and hydrated! I also use it as a primer and it holds my makeup in place all day.
Flawless Filter: This is viral for a reason! It gives you the perfect glowy base and I love that you can wear it on it’s own or underneath a lightweight foundation for a gorgeous finish.
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation: This has been my go-to for years simply because it is so lightweight and looks so natural!
Light-Reflecting Powder: This locks my makeup into place all day! It’s also not super matte which I find most setting powders to be.
Rare Beauty Blush: Definitely a makeup kit necessity. It’s super pigmented so a little goes a long way and comes in so many pretty shades!
Powder Blush: A new addition to my makeup kit, but I love the soft color it gives. If you want something more natural definitely opt for this.
Fenty Cream Bronzer: This gives you the perfect sun-kissed bronze look! It’s not sticky or greasy and I love the way it melts into your skin.
Liquid Highlight: I am obsessed with these! Pro tip, mix it in with your Rare Beauty Liquid Blush for extra shimmery look!
Contour Duo: Perfect for adding some color to your face without it being an aggressive contour. It’s soft and subtle which I love!
Dewy Setting Spray: Who doesn’t love a little sparkle?! I am obsessed the shimmery finish it gives and it also smells sooo good.
Lip Gloss: Definitely a product I would repurchase over and over! I love that these glosses aren’t too sticky and they are actually super hydrating too.
