Let the summer vacay begin! Cory and I are headed to Mexico for a little getaway today and I couldn’t be more excited. Bring on the sunshine, poolside cocktails, and alllll the tacos!
Packing for a vacation can sometimes be daunting because you want to look stylish but also not over overpack. Which somehow I always end up doing…oh well! On that note it was definitely time to revamp my summer wardrobe, so it was time to do a little online shopping. I have been super excited to share everything I got with you guys and I figured I would do a roundup here!
TOPS
When it comes to must-pack tops for Mexico, I wanted to find things that I could easily mix and match with. There’s nothing worse than packing a suitcase full of things you never wear, so I really tried to avoid that for this trip.
Seamless Black Cami: This is the perfect everyday top! You can throw it on with jean shorts and sandals or pair it with a bright flowy skirt and fun heels for a night on the town.
Nirvana Graphic Tee: There’s something about a graphic tee that always makes you look trendy and put together! Pair it with black leggings, gold jewelry, and chunky sneakers and you’ll be looking cute AF for the airport.
Blue Linen Blend Shirt: In my coastal grandma era with this top! I love how functional it is and how you can mix and match it with so many different outfits or even throw it on over a bikini as a coverup.
DRESSES & SETS
Nothing screams vacay like a vibrant flowy dress or a cutesy matching set! Here are a few of my favorite things I found when I was online shopping for our trip, and what I will honestly be wearing all summer long.
Cutout Maxi Dress: You know I love anything with out cutout and I was obsessed with the color of this one.
Denim Overalls: I thought these would be perfect for a day full of shopping and exploring in town!
Floral Strapless Dress: The perfect dress for a date night! When your on vacation, it’s always nice to get dressed up and have a least one nice special dinner. I thought this would be perfect for just that!
White Maxi Dress: Catch me in this all summer long! Dress it up or down, this is definitely a packing must.
BOTTOMS
When it comes to packing bottoms for the trip, I wanted to make sure I had a fun mix of styles but also versatile pieces that made sense. I have been loving all the linen pants and fun patterns that are in style, so you know I ordered some! Here’s everything I packed…
Denim Shorts: Is it just me or does Abercrombie have the best shorts? These are seriously so flattering and I love the dad cut.
Paisley Print Shorts: I have been having so much fun lately introducing more prints into my wardrobe. When I saw these, I knew I had to have them!
Wide Leg Linen Pants: These might be the pants of the summer and I totally understand why! They are super lightweight and comfortable and give you that effortlessly chic look.
BAGS & SWIM
Now for the best part, bikinis and bags! When it comes to swimwear, especially for a tropical vacay, I love anything with a pop of color. As for bags, I always have the hardest time choosing between something neutral or more of a statement bag, so instead I packed a little bit of everything.
Versace Denim Tote: This is definitely a splurge, but I thought this was the perfect tote for summer!
Bikini Top: This cut is seriously so flattering and supportive. If you aren’t a pink gal, don’t worry they have about 20 different color/pattern options!
Dior Canvas Tote: Say hello to my pool day bag! I love that canvas totes are back in because they are so chic, but also super practical.
