September is here and even though the weather doesn’t reflect it, fall is in the air. I mean, we already have pumpkin spice lattes at Starbucks and everything at the store is fall, so I’m leaning in! I shared some of my favorite fall picks to kick off the season in this post, including some cute fashion things and home decor. I was going to include Halloween decor in that post, but I ended up finding so much stuff I knew I had to make a blog post just focused on Halloween!
The thing about Halloween decor is that while we might not be ready just yet to think about Halloween, you have to grab your decor now since all of the good stuff will sell out! Plus, I’ve done the whole wait 2 weeks until Halloween to get decor thing, and by the time I go shop, everything is already Christmas. Soooo I decided we can get prepped early this year with all of the Halloween decor I love! Everything from $3 pieces to $100 pieces is in here so if you want to go big or small I’ve got you covered. Halloween Table Set Up
Whether this be your entryway table, dining table, or even if you’re adding small decor to a side table, it’s always fun to create a spooky tablescape. I love this spiderweb table runner to start, and adding fun decor like this gold skeleton head or this LED ceramic ghost is the cherry on top. If you’re creating a tablescape for the dining room, this pumpkin plate and skeleton plate are so fun and would totally work together. Oh, and did I mention they’re $3 a plate?
All the Lights
To create that moody Halloween vibe you have to bring in all of the lights! I love turning off or dimming our main lights and just turning on my fun decor lighting while cozying up and watching a Halloween movie. The best! Depending on what type of lighting you’re looking for, I found so many good options. For something fun (and not scary) I love this BOO light. I’m also into something like these bat string lights which look cute with the lights turned on or off! They would be so cute over a fireplace. If candles are more your thing, I love this skull candelabra situation which comes in black or terracotta.
Complete Your Couch
Who says Halloween can’t be cozy? If you’re not someone who likes to decorate too much for Halloween, pillows are the way to go. They’re inexpensive and so easy to just plop on your couch. I love this boo pillow and black cat pillow from Target, $10 and so fun!
Front Porch Things
For me, if I’m doing any Halloween decorating, I love decorating my front porch! It’s always fun when trick-or-treaters come to the door on Halloween night and everything is decorated. The best part about decorating the front porch is that you can go all out or keep it simple! Adding a simple Halloween wreath like this bat wreath on the door is super easy. I also love this 5-foot gold skeleton and these floating witch hats if you want to go bigger! You really can’t go wrong when it comes to the front porch!
Regardless if you’re keeping it low-key this Halloween and watching scary movies, or going all out and dressing up for a Halloween party, adding a few fun decorations is such a fun way to enjoy the holiday. Can’t wait to bring in the new season with you!
